Tutorial for Version 4.0 of Brothertm PE-Designtm,/BabyLocktm Palettetm home digitizing software is now available. There are 228 videos for over 7 hours of viewing and 83 pages of printable class notes. Every icon, menu item and tool is covered in detail. Hints and tips are given through out the tutorial. Learn to use your digitizing software to its fullest potential. Unlike seminars, you can refer back to the tutorial over and over again whenever you need to. Watch and review a video until you are comfortable with your grasp of the subject. This is a complete tutorial that covers from File Open to digitizing a design with the manual punch tool. You do not need to purchase the previous tutorial. A special thanks go to Deegee of Deegee's Digi Designs and to Carol Bauer at Designs Sew Fine. Deegee allowed me to use one of her designs as an example for the lessons on text in the Layout and Editing portion of the tutorial. Deegee is also one of Amazing Design's Amazing Designers. After you have visited her web site, you will see why her designs are so special. Carol Bauers Designs Sew Fine web site was the example used for the new lesson on the Internet. This lesson shows how to navigate a well done created web site and demonstrate how to download free designs from the web. Carol Bauer takes extra special care in her digitizing and it shows in all her design sets. Amazing Designs allowed me to use one of their designs in the tutorial also. I used one of the butterflies from their Butterfly Collection I in Layout and Editing. I showed how to apply stitch to block to the design and then make some changes to the original. Sometimes it is easier to purchase a stock embroidery design and then modify it to suit your needs then to create a design from scratch. None of the designs from these wonderful companies are included on the tutorial. All the embroidery designs not so identified as belonging to these embroidery businesses are my designs and most may be purchased from this web site. This tutorial runs best in Windows XP.
